The Digital App market for kids is bigger than ever and keeps on expanding. Floop is a start-up project specialized on this segment. Located in Cosette's lab in Montreal they provide innovative tools and search ways to make the life of connected parents easier. We were in charge of its Global communication.
The first goal was to design a mobile application allowing parents to download the best apps curated for their child depending on his age and gender in a short list of apps for kids sorted by educative and play-based specialists. Unfortunately this concept was rejected several times by Apple who was building a similar tool for their millions of users. We did release plenty of iterations of this idea. We were in charge of the user experience and its interface.
Floop decided then to take the best of their knowledge and invest their time on making tools for both parents and developers. For example allowing kids to share their digital creations with their families directly from an app.
Today floop is still looking for innovative ways of improving parents and kid's apps developers relationship throughout new digital tools.
Apps for kids are fascinating. The young user experiences are often very fun and entertaining. You know how you can sometimes see a husband reading a woman's magasine on the beach? You can now also catch parents playing with their kids digital toys on weekdays!
